The inspiration behind Brand Africa® brings the possibility of those things which are intrinsically African into view and that view into reality. This creativity drives an experience that emotionally connects with people, so they begin to see the invisible and do the impossible.

    Audra Wilson-Max

    Audra founded Brand Africa® in 2007 and is the inspiration and passion behind the brand. Trained and qualified as a designer and advertiser in Zimbabwe, Audra was creative partner in a national communications firm before becoming co-founder and director of a Road Safety business. She then spent nearly a decade branding and communicating the largest international professional financial services body in the UK. This diverse grounding is combined with the advantage and having worked in Africa now being a part of the dynamic African Diaspora. Born in Zimbabwe and based in London, Audra has been African since before 1967.

    Ken Wilson-Max

    Ken Wilson-Max is a champion of creative expression at Brand Africa® and a steward to the community of creatives. As Conceptual Director he oversees ideas and design concepts. An accomplished designer as well as award-winning writer and illustrator of children's books, Ken Wilson-Max is published worldwide in several languages, from Swahili to Chinese. Born in Zimbabwe and based in England Ken has been African since before 1965, worked in Africa and is part of the dynamic African Diaspora.

    Paul Ash

    Paul Ash brings a wealth of experience gained from a wide number of business sectors. A qualified Accountant, he was a member of the London Stock Exchange's senior management team and went on to become Business Development Director for the Exchange's UK Markets. Following several years as Regional CFO, for Canada's largest bank, Paul went back into industry as Head of Corporate Finance at BG plc. Paul then joined Institute for International Research ("IIR") as the Group's CFO, based in Amsterdam and New York. Today Paul owns and runs his own international corporate finance consultancy business and is a major shareholder in an international public events and corporate events management business. Paul is also a Member of Council of one of the UK's leading Universities.
